KYLE, Joseph, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, 1780 in Reedsville, Mifflin County, Pa.; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, sheriff, Mifflin County (1795); elected, auditor, Mifflin County (1813-1814); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1817-1818, 1818-1819 and 1819-1820 terms; appointed, associate judge, Mifflin County (1843-1847); died, February 8, 1861 in Milroy, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
