BENNINGHOFF, Kerry Albert, a Representative from Centre and Mifflin Counties; born in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pa., January 14, 1962; graduated, State College Area High School, 1979; attended, The Pennsylvania State University; graduated, Pennsylvania Certified Coroners Training Program; certified county coroner; certified EYE A, Pennsylvania Lions Eye Bank, Hershey Medical Center; elected, coroner, Centre County (2 terms); administration and clinical care, Centre Community Hospital; carpenter; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1997 term; reelected to the House for 13 more consecutive terms; elected, Majority Whip (2019-June 22, 2020); elected, Majority Floor Leader (June 22, 2020-2022); appointed, Select Committee on Pharmaceuticals (2000); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); appointed, Joint State Goverment Commission (2019-2022); appointed, Pennsylvania Legislative Reapportionment Commission (2021-2022); appointed, Chesapeake Bay Commission (2023-present).
