CRISSMAN, William, a Representative from Bedford County; born, July 25, 1764 in Franconia, Montgomery County, Pa.; farmer; merchant; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819 and 1819-1820 terms; justice of the peace; elected, auditor, Bedford County; died, December 8, 1842 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Smith Cemetery, Bedford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
