WALLACE, Peter, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, 1765 in Westmoreland County, Pa.; engaged, grist mill; engaged, saw mill; engaged, real estate; engaged, salt business; elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1812-1813 and 1814-1815 terms; reelected as a Republican to the House for the 1813-1814 term; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1817-1818, 1818-1819, 1819-1820 and 1821-1822 terms; died, February 12, 1839 in Derry, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
