HECK, Ludwick, a Representative from Franklin County; born, 1767 in Franklin County, Pa.; elected, council, Chambersburg (1805-1806); elected, director of the poor, Franklin County (1808-1810); elected, commissioner, Franklin County (1812-1815); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1816-1817, 1817-1818, 1818-1819 and 1819-1820 terms; reelected to the House in a Special Election, February 27, 1828; Sworn-In, March 3, 1828 to serve the remaining 1827-1828 term; reelected to the House for the 1828-1829 term; died, December 19, 1853 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
