PICKETT, Tina, a Representative from Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties; born in Kingston, Luzerne County, Pa., May 28, 1943; graduated, Wyalusing Valley High School; attended, Culinary Institute of America, Keystone College and The Pennsylvania State University; restaurant and hotel owner; elected, commissioner, Bradford County (1996-2000); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2001 term; reelected to the House for 11 more consecutive terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Council for the Arts (2003-present); appointed, board, Center for Rural Pennsylvania (2005-2010); appointed, Select Committee on Influenza Vaccine (2006); appointed, Deputy Whip (2007-2008); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2016, 2020).
