FOULKE, Benjamin, a Representative from Bucks County; born, August 17, 1766 in Pennsylvania; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1816-1817, 1817-1818, 1819-1820, 1820-1821 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1818); died while in office, February 28, 1821 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Richland Friends Meeting Burial Ground, Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
