BLACKFAN, Crispin, a Representative from Bucks County; born, September 25, 1796 in Pennsylvania; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1819-1820 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1820, 1824); elected, prothonotary, Bucks County (1821-1824); died, July 26, 1848 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey; interred, Mercer Cemetery, Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey.
