ALLEN, Frank Mattern, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, Pa., February 15, 1923; graduated, Tamaqua High School; A.B., The Pennsylvania State College (now The Pennsylvania State University), 1948; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1952; served, United States Army (1943-1946, World War II); lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Schuylkill County (1964-1966); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1967 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1972); died, January 8, 1999 in Bernville, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
