FRANK, Samuel W., a Representative from Lehigh County; born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pa., May 30, 1904; owner, Frank Trouser Co.; district manager, Sears, Roebuck and Co.; president, Allentown Recreation Commission (1950-1970); State Democratic Committeeman, Lehigh County (1952-1954); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1955 and 1957 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1956, 1960, 1962); reelected to House for the 1965 term and served 4 consecutive terms thereafter; member, State Bicentennial Commission (1969-1973); appointed, Special Committee to Investigate the Energy Crisis (1973); died while in office, April 17, 1973 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beth El Memorial Park, Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
