WISE, Robert Campbell, a Representative from Lycoming County; born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pa., May 21, 1925; graduated, Williamsport High School; attended, University of Notre Dame; B.S., California Institute of Technology, 1946; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1948; lieutenant, United States Navy (1943-1946, World War II; 1952-1954, Korean War); attorney; Assistant District Attorney, Lycoming County (1956-1960); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965 term and served 4 more consecutive terms; appointed, Special Committee to Investigate Closing of the Blossburg State Hospital (1973); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1974); elected, director, Pennsylvania Legislative Reference Bureau (1975-1976); died, September 3, 2024 in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
