HORNER, Jack Berkley, a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pa., March 24, 1922; graduated, Elizabethtown High School, 1940; A.B., Colgate University; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); attorney; served, Air Corps, United States Army (1943-1946, World War II); elected, Elizabethtown Area School Board (1959-1964); elected, council, Elizabethtown; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965 term and served 3 more consecutive terms; appointed, Speaker's Committee on Tax Reform (1970); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1972); died, July 10, 2009 in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mt.
