KENNEDY, H. Francis, a Representative from Butler County; born in Adams Township, Butler County, Pa., July 7, 1918; graduated, Mars High School; attended, The Pennsylvania State University; dairy farmer; purebred cattle business; elected, president, Adams Township School Board (1942-1956); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1962; reelected to serve 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Local Government Commission (1968); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (1969-1970); appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1971-1974); appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the State Water Plan (1974); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1974); died, April 29, 1995 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Union Cemetery, Pine Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
