HOMER, Max H., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Stowe Township, Allegheny County, Pa., May 20, 1935; B.S., Thiel College, 1959; M.Ed., Duquesne University, 1963; D.Ed., West Virginia University, 1970; high school teacher; college professor; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1964; reelected to serve 4 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection (1974); superintendent, Sto-Rox School District; substitute social studies teacher, South Hills and Brashear High Schools; died, October 30, 2014 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
