HOPKINS, Forest Wilson, a Representative from Erie and Warren Counties; born in Sweet Springs, Saline County, Mo., December 12, 1912; A.B., Ohio University, 1936; graduate study, Princeton University; lieutenant, United States Navy (1944-1945, World War II); publisher: North East Breeze, Chautauqua News, Sherman Advance, Fredonia Censor; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1966 and served 5 more consecutive terms; died while in office, April 26, 1978 in North East, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, North East Cemetery, North East, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
