GEISLER, Robert Adam, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., July 19, 1925; graduated, Langley High School; attended, Duquesne University; attended, University of Pittsburgh, Institute of Local Government (6 years); served, Air Corps, United States Army (1944-1946, World War II); auditor, city of Pittsburgh (1947-1952); clerk and building inspector, Controller’s Office, Pittsburgh; alderman and justice of the peace, 20th Ward, Pittsburgh (10 years); chair, 20th Ward Democratic Organization, Pittsburgh (21 years); elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1966; served 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1975-1978); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1978); died, April 7, 1993 in Largo, Pinellas County, Florida; interred, Mount Calvary Cemetery, McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
