(1962-1979); author; member, Republican State Committee (1964-1966); director, The Performing Arts for Children; director, Health Systems Agency of Southwestern Pennsylvania; Republican State Committeeman; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1966; served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1978); secretary and treasurer, Pennsylvania Public Television Commission (1979-2003); general manager and CEO, Pennsylvania Public Television Network.
