CAPUTO, Charles Nicolo, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., March 21, 1912; B.S., Duquesne University, 1934; LL.B., Duquesne Law School, 1946; attorney; assistant city solicitor, Pittsburgh; businessman; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1966; reelected to serve 5 more consecutive terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1975-1978); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1978); attorney, Pennsylvania Legislative Reference Bureau; executive director, State Government Committee, Democratic Caucus, Pennsylvania House of Representatives; died, September 14, 1986 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, McMurray, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
