KELLY, Anita Palermo, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Ozone Park, Queens County, NY, on July 27, 1913; graduated, John Adams High School; studied abroad (3 years); currency counter, Federal Reserve Bank (13 years); member, 34th Ward Democratic Executive Committee (26 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election on November 5, 1963 to serve the remaining 1963 term; Sworn-In, December 4, 1963 and was reelected for 7 more terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1979 term; died, August 15, 1990 in Lower Merion, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fernwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fernwood, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
