LAUDADIO, John F., Sr., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born in Penn, Westmoreland County, Pa., December 26, 1916; graduated, Jeannette High School; attended, Jeannette Night School; attended, Carnegie Institute of Technology; electrical worker; employee, Westinghouse Electric Corporation; chair, Park Development, Westmoreland County Recreation Commission (1960-1969); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1962; reelected to 6 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (1968-1976; chair, 1971-1976); appointed, Lake Erie Joint Commission (1968-1972; chair, 1971-1972); appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the State Water Plan (1974); member, Middle Atlantic Environmental Council; died while in office, June 7, 1977 in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Boniface Cemetery, Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
