RENWICK, William F., a Representative from Cameron, Clinton and Elk Counties; born in St. Marys, Elk County, Pa., December 30, 1915; graduated, St. Marys Central Catholic High School, 1934; served, United States Marine Corps (1945, World War II); owner and operator, Grand Market (1938-1954); elected, council, St. Marys Borough (1945-1949); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term and served 11 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (1967-1974); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1978); died, February 28, 1981 in St. Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Mary’s, Elk County, Pennsylvania.
