WESTERBERG, Victor J., a Representative from Cameron and McKean Counties; born in Wetmore Township, McKean County, Pa., February 6, 1912; graduated, Kane High School; captain, United States Army (1942-1946, World War II); served, United States Army Reserve (1946-1950); truck dealer; auditor, Wetmore Township (1934-1936); secretary and treasurer, Wetmore Township Board of Supervisors (1937-1941); elected, council, Kane Borough (1950-1954); postmaster, United States Post Office, Kane, Pa. (1959-1961); member, McKean County Republican Executive Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, April 28, 1964 to serve the remaining 1963 term; Sworn-In, May 25, 1964 and reelected to serve 6 more consecutive terms; elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1967-1968); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1976); died, March 19, 1985 in Kane, McKean County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kanesholm, McKean County, Pennsylvania.
