WEIDNER, Marvin D., a Representative from Bucks County; born in Telford, Bucks County, Pa., August 29, 1911; graduated, Souderton High School; graduate, Pierce Business School, 1931; attended, The Pennsylvania State University Extension, 1965; freight solicitor, Norfolk  and Western Railroad (1941-1951); freight solicitor, Winston-Salem Southbound Railroad (1951-1963); tax collector, Telford Borough (1946-1966); member, Bucks County Republican Executive Committee (1960-1968); elected, treasurer, Bucks County (1964-1966); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1966 and served 6 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Local Government Commission (1975-1980; chair, 1979-1980); died while in office, July 29, 1980 in Sellersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Christ Reformed Church of Indian Creek Cemetery, Telford, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
