YAHNER, Paul J., a Representative from Cambria County; born in Patton, Cambria County, Pa., November 8, 1908; attended, The Pennsylvania State University; farmer; Pennsylvania Master Farmer (1961); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965 term and served 7 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the State Water Plan (1974); appointed, Select Committee on Three Mile Island (1979); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1980); died, August 6, 1993 in Patton, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Patton, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
