BRUNNER, John L., a Representative from Beaver and Washington Counties; born in Langeloth, Washington County, Pa., August 18, 1929; graduated, Burgettstown High School; A.B., Duquesne University, 1953; LL.B., Georgetown University Law School, 1956; served, United States Army (1946-1949); attorney; Assistant District Attorney, Washington County (1957-1960); Workmen’s Compensation referee, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (1960-1961); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1964; served 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee to Review Insurance Regulations (1974); died while in office, January 1, 1980 in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
