HENNESSEY, Timothy F., a Representative from Chester and Montgomery Counties; born in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa., November 4, 1947; graduated, St. Pius X High School, 1965; B.S., St. Joseph’s University, 1969; J.D., Villanova University School of Law, 1972; attorney; former associate, Binder, Binder, Yohn and Kalis; trial attorney, Public Defenders’ Office, Chester County; solicitor, North Coventry Township; president, Birthright of Pottstown; past president, Alternatives Corporation of Pottstown; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1992; reelected to the House for 14 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee Investigating the Integration of Human Rights Standards in Pennsylvania Laws and Policies (2002, 2004); unsuccessful campaign for reeelction to the House (2022).
