BARRAR, Stephen E., a Representative from Delaware County; born in Darby, Delaware County, Pa., May 25, 1954; graduated, Interboro High School, 1972; served, United States Navy (1973-1975, Vietnam War); owner, Twin Oaks Garden Mart (1984-1997); elected, commissioner, Upper Chichester Township (1992-1996; board president, 1994-1996); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1997 term; reelected to the House for 11 more consecutive terms; appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (2009-2020); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2020).
