METZGAR, Carl Walker, a Representative from Bedford and Somerset Counties; born in Somerset, Somerset County, Pa., October 10, 1981; graduated, Berlin Brothersvalley High School, 2000; B.S., cum laude, political science and criminal justice, Frostburg State University, 2004; J.D., Duquesne University School of Law, 2007; cattle farming; attorney; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2008; reelected to the House for 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2019-2020); appointed, Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority (2022-present).
