REIDER, Peter, a Representative from York County; colonel, 25th Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia (1823); tavern keeper; elected, commissioner, York County (1814-1816); elected, justice of the peace (1814); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1816, 1824); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819 and 1819-1820 terms.
