WEAVER, William, a Representative from Philadelphia County; proprietor, Bowlby & Weaver, hardware store; director, Philadelphia Bank (1816); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1818-1819, 1819-1820 and 1820-1821 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1824); elected, school director, Philadelphia (1829).
