DIMMICK, Dan, a Representative from Northampton, Pike and Wayne Counties; born, March 1, 1775 in Mansfield, Tolland County, Ct.; lawyer (1802-1825); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1808, 1809, 1810); commissioner, Bethany and Dingman’s Choice Turnpike Company (1811); elected, auditor, Wayne County (1814); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1819-1820, 1820-1821 and 1821-1822 terms; died, January 27, 1825 in Milford, Pike County, Pennsylvania; interred, Milford Cemetery, Milford, Pike County, Pennsylvania.
