DRINKHOUSE, Jacob, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, 1770 in Pennsylvania; served, Pennsylvania Militia (Revolutionary War); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Pottstown (1808, 1816); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1817-1818, 1818-1819, 1819-1820 and 1820-1821 terms; justice of the peace; died, October 23, 1857 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
