ELLIS, Brian L., a Representative from Butler County; born in Butler, Butler County, Pa., 1969; graduated, Butler High School, 1988; B.A., communications, University of Pittsburgh; co-owner, Ellis Auto Group; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (2002); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2004; reelected to the House for 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Information Security (2006); appointed, Stimulous Oversight Commission (2009-2010); elected, Majority Caucus Administrator (2015-2016); resigned from the House, March 18, 2019; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2008, 2016).
