LIGHTNER, John, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, January 13, 1765; merchant; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1819-1820 and 1821-1822 terms; elected, associate judge, court of common pleas, Lancaster County (1827-1837); died, July 1, 1841 in Strasburg Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; removed to, Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
