FENSTERMACHER, Wilhelm “William,” a Representative from Lehigh County; born, March 22, 1775 in Heidelberg Township, Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pa.; farmer; elected, commissioner, Lehigh County (1812); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1817-1818 term; reelected to the House for 4 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1822); died, August 19, 1850 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
