SCOTT, James. Jr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, 1784 in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pa.; colonel, Pennsylvania Militia (1813-1815, War of 1812); farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1831, 1847, 1849); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat for the 1833-1834 and 1834-1835 terms; died, April 18, 1868 in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
