WILSON, John, a Representative from Allegheny and Butler Counties; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat-Republican for the 1803-1804, 1808-1809 and 1809-1810 terms; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1812); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1816, 1819); reelected to the House as a Democrat to the 1817-1818 and 1818-1819 terms; elected, commissioner, Allegheny County (1823-1825).
