CROOKS, Robert, a Representative from Franklin County; born, August 17, 1772 in Washington Township, Franklin County, Pa.; elected, commissioner, Franklin County (1808-1811); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1817, 1818, 1821); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1820-1821; justice of the peace; died, March 9, 1850 in Washington Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Moss Spring Cemetery, Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
