SLACK, Charles Timothy, a Representative from Chester County; born in Coatesville, Chester County, Pa., April 11, 1913; attended, Coatesville High School, Tome School, and Harrisburg Academy; B.S. and C.E., Lafayette College; chief carpenters mate, Construction Battalion, United States Navy (1943-1945, World War II); consulting civil engineer; elected, council, Coatesville (1947-1961); city engineer, Coatesville (1960-1968); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1961 term and served 4 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1971 term; died, June 19, 1976 in Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
