BAYNE, Andrew, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, September 30, 1794 in Fayette County, Pa.; carpenter; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832, 1832-1833 and 1834-1835 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1833); elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1837-1838); elected, sheriff, Allegheny County (1837-1840); farmer; died, August 3, 1881 in Bellevue, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Union Dale Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
