HULINGS / HULING, David Watts, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, circa 1795 in Pennsylvania; graduated, Dickinson College, 1812; corporal, 2nd Regiment, Light Infantry, Pennsylvania Militia (1812, War of 1812); studied law, David Watts; lawyer (1818-1858); commissioned, deputy attorney general, Mifflin County (1818); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1819, 1820); elected, council president, Lewistown (1820); publisher, Mifflin Eagle (1826-1832); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1825-1826 term; reelected to the House for the 1827-1828 term; engaged, real estate; owner, Hope Furnace; died,1858 in Baltimore, Maryland.
