PATTERSON, John, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, October 6, 1772 in Tinicum, Bucks County, Pa.; farmer; justice of the peace, Tuscarora Township; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827 term; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1827-1828 and 1828-1829 terms; died, October 10, 1843 in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lower Tuscarora Church and Cemetery, Beale Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
