COCKLIN, Michael, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, March 27, 1795 in Cumberland County, Pa.; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832, 1832-1833 and 1833-1834 terms; elected, associate judge, Cumberland County (1856-1865); died, March 30, 1878 in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cocklin’s Church Graveyard, Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
