KOOKER, Jacob, a Representative from Bucks County; born, September 10, 1794 in Pennsylvania; farmer; captain, Leopard Riflemen, Bucks County, Pennsylvania Militia (War of 1812); elected, treasurer, Bucks County (1821); elected, director of the poor, Bucks County (1831); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1834-1835 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House; died, July 2, 1835 in Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ferndale, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
