BISPHAM, John H., a Representative from Bucks County; born, 1799; ensign, 32nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia (1814, War of 1812); farmer; elected, director of the poor, Bucks County (1827); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 and 1833-1834 terms; died, March 6, 1850 in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rue Bisham Cemetery, Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
