FULMER, Eugene M., a Representative from Centre and Clearfield Counties; born in Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, Pa., November 17, 1917; graduated, Ephrata High School; B.S., The Pennsylvania State University, 1948; graduated, Gould Academy, Me., 1949; graduated, Northeastern Institute for Commercial and Trade Associations, Yale University, 1954; served, United States Army; instructor, The Pennsylvania State University (1952-1955); public relations; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1959 term and served 5 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House in the 1970 General election; chair, Centre County Republican Committee; director of research, Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, Republican Caucus, Pennsylvania House of Representatives; died, July 7, 1977 in Hershey, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Centre County Memorial Park, State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
