HAUDENSHIELD, Dr. George Kirkbride, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, June 11, 1920 in Pennsylvania; attended, Carnegie High Schools; attended, Allegheny College; B.S., D.D.S., University of Pittsburgh Dental School, 1943; lieutenant, United States Naval Reserves (1943-1946, World War II); dentist; elected, Scott Township School Board; elected, president, Chartiers Valley Joint School Board (1959-1960); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on November 3, 1959; Sworn-In, December 7, 1959 to serve the remaining 1959 term; reelected in 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966, and 1968; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1970); died, February 19, 2011 in Scott Township, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania.
