MORRISON, Elijah, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, April 29, 1808 in Mifflin County, Pa.; farmer; elected, auditor, Wayne Township (1852-1853): elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1855 term; elected, associate judge, Mifflin County (186-1866); died, October 20, 1882 in Pennsylvania; interred, Newton Hamilton Memorial Cemetery, Newton Hamilton, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
