CUMMINS, William Dow, a Representative from Mifflin County; born, November 23, 1797 in Mifflin County, Pa.; colonel, Pennsylvania Militia (Civil War); cattle farmer; cooper; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1844 term; died, April 1, 1865 in Pennsylvania; interred, Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
