FRANKENBURG, Richard James, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., June 3, 1929; graduated, Wilkinsburg High School, 1948; attended, University of Pittsburgh, Institute of Local Government; served, United States Navy Reserves (1950-1960); elected, council, Wilkinsburg (1966-1970, 1977-1984); member, Allegheny County Republican Committee (1966-1972); member, Young Republicans of Allegheny County; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1970 and 1972; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1974, 1976); died, September 15, 2015 in Wilkinsburg, Allegeny County, Pennsylvania.
